The UEFA champions league quarter finals competition took place on Tuesday and Wednesday where different teams encountered one another.

On Tuesday, the premier league table leaders Manchester City hosted Borusia Dortmund at the Etihad Stadium while defending champions liverpool traveled to spain to battle with Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu.
Goals from Kevin De Bruyne, Phil Foden, Vinicius junior and Marco Asensio scored goals for the hosts to enable them ememrge victorious.
