Top Juventus stars fined for organising party

 

Juventus players Paulo Dybala, Arthur Melo and Weston McKennie were fined by the Italian police for attending a party on Wednesday night without respecting COVID-19 restrictions.

The party was organised at McKennie’s house near Turin and had between 10 and 20 people in attendance, including Dybala, Arthur and their respective families.

According to the Italian press, neighbours called to inform the police, who went to McKennie’s house at around 23:30 CET and fined those present.

The gathering was organised with less than three days to go for Juventus’ cross-city derby against Torino next Saturday.

Andrea Pirlo’s side lost 1-0 at home to newly-promoted Benevento before the international break and currently sit third in the Serie A table, ten points behind leaders Inter.

Juventus, who won the Supercoppa Italiana, were eliminated from the Champions League at the hands of Porto and will face Atalanta in the Coppa Italia final.

The Old Lady could also fine Dybala, Arthur and McKennie for breaking COVID-19 restrictions.
