Supercomputer predicts Clasico winner and La Liga title race  verdict

It’s surely not what Madrid fans believe will happen.

According to prediction specialists from the FiveThirtyEight project, Barcelona are slight favourites ahead of the upcoming El Clasico.

They assess the Catalans’ odds to win the game at 41%, while Real Madrid are having a 36% cent chance to get 3 points.

Their computer algorithm also predicts the Catalans to finish top of the table with 85 points with Los Blancos ending the campaign third on 80 points, one fewer than Atletico Madrid.

At the moment, Diego Simeone’s side are the leaders of the La Liga race after 29 games with 66 points. Barcelona and Real Madrid are both within touching distance to Atletico with 65 and 63 points respectively ahead of El Clasico.
