Real Madrid president gives star defender permission to join Manchester United
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has revealed Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane can leave the Spanish side this summer amid interest from Manchester United.
The Frenchman has just over a year to run on his deal at the Bernabeu and he has stalled on extending his contract, with reports claiming he wants to test himself in the Premier League.
“Varane? I’m happy with our team… if players don’t want to stay at Madrid they can leave,” said Perez, as quoted by Metro UK.
Real Madrid reportedly want £60million for the France international.
