Over 105 fans were arrested during the Champions League final in chaotic Scenes
The interior ministry recorded 105 arrests following the wild circumstances at the Stade de France during Real Madrid’s Champions League final triumph against Liverpool.
After the final on Saturday night, the figures were announced on Sunday. They went on to say that 39 persons had been detained and that they were being held in custody. In a tweet, Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin blamed British fans for “forcing their way through doors without tickets or with counterfeit ones.”
In the city’s largest fan zones, there were no major incidents. Nearly 40,000 Liverpool fans flocked to the city’s east side for the Liverpool fan zone.
