Brandon Williams and Phil Jones are not included in Manchester United’s 25-man roster for the 2017 UEFA Europa League campaign.

The Manchester United Europa League roster hasn’t included many surprises. Over the past few seasons, Phil Jones and Brandon Williams have both seen little to no action on the senior team.
Jones, a representative of England, was only able to play for United’s first squad five times last year. The center-back has been ailing for a few months, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Brandon Williams, on the other hand, spent last season out on loan at Norwich City. The full-back is now injured, similar to Phil Jones, which may be the cause of his exclusion.

A few unexpected players have been added to the Manchester United roster. Facundo Pellistri and defender Axel Tuanzebe are in the 25-man roster for the Europa League despite the fact that both players are currently out with injuries. Additionally, Alejandro Garnacho is included in the group.
Manchester United strengthened their roster by adding six new players during the congested summer transfer period. Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, Antony, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Martin Dubravka were all signed in the recently-concluded transfer window.
The six players that United signed this summer are all represented on the team for the Europa League.

Cristiano Ronaldo will also be competing in the Europa League this season. The five-time winner of the Ballon d’Or desired to leave the team in order to take part in UEFA Champions League competition. He was unable to leave the club during the transfer window, though.
As they prepare to play Real Sociedad in their opening Europa League match, Manchester United is currently in excellent form. The Premier League has seen four straight victories for the Red Devils. This winning streak featured convincing triumphs over Liverpool and Arsenal, two powerhouses in the Premier League.
They just defeated the Gunners 3-1 at Old Trafford to snap their unbeaten start to the year.
With 12 points from their first six games, Erik ten Hag’s team is now ranked sixth in the Premier League.
