The visiting supporters clashed after Spurs beat Manchester City 1-0 thanks to a Heung-min Son strike that capped off the opening weekend of the Premier League season as full capacity crowds returned to stadiums

Full capacity crowds returned to Premier League stadiums for the first time since March 2020 this weekend and the Citizens supporters’ behaviour followed clashes between Manchester United and Leeds United supporters on Saturday.

The travelling fans were filmed in heated confrontation with stewards at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after full-time, as they also were seen untying Spurs’ LGTBQ+ flag while they remonstrated with their own players.

Heung-min Son’s solo effort in the 55th minutes separated the sides as they closed out the weekend.

The state of the art stadium, which opened in 2019, has not been a happy hunting ground for Pep Guardiola and co, who have lost on all four visits.
