Pep Guardiola lavished praise on the legacy that Sergio Aguero has left at Manchester City, after the Argentine striker announced he would be leaving the club at the end of the campaign.
The City coach believes the numbers that Aguero amassed for the Sky Blues – a club record 257 goals – make him a legend and compared him with the other two greats of his country.

“Maradona conquered Italy, Messi did it in Spain, and Aguero has done it in England, his numbers speak for themselves,” Guardiola said in a press conference.

“When you have that internal fire, playing with that anger, his incredible talent comes out, he can win games on his own.
“He is an extraordinary person, and we still have another month and a half to win things and score goals,” Guardiola added
