Ghana League will be Valuable with Asamoah Gyan move to Legon Cities- Hearts of Oak MD

According to the Managing Director of Hearts of Oak, Mr. Frederick Moore has described as fantastic, the return of Asamoah Gyan to the Ghana Premier League.

The legendary striker left the shores of Ghana in 2003 where he parted ways with Liberty Professionals to join Italian Serie A outfit, Udinese.

After 17 years, Asamoah Gyan has returned home and has signed a 1-year deal with Legon Cities FC ahead of the start of the 2020/2021 football season.

According to Mr. Frederick Moore, the return is fantastic, and more great players need to be encouraged to follow suit to improve the local league.

“I think it’s fantastic. Gyan is a great player and I’m pleased and wish more top players will come back to Ghana and make the league bigger and more successful”, the Hearts of Oak MD.

Frederick Moore added, “I wish Asamoah Gyan all the best if there’s something beyond best I wish him that when he plays all the clubs except Accra Hearts of Oak”.
