Executive council named new technical team for the Black Satellite on the latest reshuffling of the national teams

In a latest reshuffle of the technical teams of the national teams by the Executive Council of the Ghana FA, Abdul Karim Zito has been maintained as the head coach of the Ghana’s U20 side, the Black Satellites.
Zito’s experience and undiluted competence as the head coach of the Black Satellites saw him guide the team to win the U20 AFCON in Mauritania last month.
The Dreams FC Technical Director had earlier guided the team to lift the WAFU Zone B U20 Championship held in Benin in December last year.
Zito until his appointment as the U20 head coach last year was the head coach of the Black Starlets (U17) and has also been the head coach of the Black Meteors before.
He will be assisted by Hearts of Oak gaffer Samuel Boadu who was previously the head coach of Ghana’s U15 side.
Boadu replaces Karela United head coach Augustine Evans Adottey who as assistant to Zito.

The former Medeama SC trainer is the only addition to the technical team as all other members of the team have been maintained.
The new technical team of the Black Satellites will, thus, be as follows:
Abdul Karim Zito – Head Coach
Samuel Boadu – Assistant Coach
Abdul Fatawu Salifu – Assistant Coach
Jerry Asare – Goalkeepers Trainer
Dr. Opare Anim – Team Doctor
Roy Ricky Romeo – Physical Trainer
Gilbert Yankson – Physiotherapist
Emmanuel Tagoe – Welfare Officer
Charles Quartey – Equipment Officer
Executive Council member Dr. Randy Abbey has retained his position as Chairman of the Black Satellites management committee.
The experienced football administrator, who owns Division One side Heart of Lions, will steer affairs for a further year after excelling in his role in the last one year. During the period, he led the Black Satellites to win the WAFU Zone B Cup of Nations and the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Benin and Mauritania respectively.
Techiman Eleven Wonders CEO, Albert Yahaya Commey who worked as Vice Chairman has also been retained.
