205 Ghanaian players were in action for their clubs over the weekend with 25 of them scoring 28 goals in various leagues.

New Black Stars forward Kelvin Yeboah scored his 5th goal in 4 games for Sturm Graz while Salisu Mohammed emerged the star-man in Southampton’s 1-1 draw with Manchester United.

ENGLAND

Thomas Partey watched Arsenal’s 2-0 loss to Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium from the bench.

Defender Salisu Mohammed played central defence for Southampton who held Manchester United to a 1-1 draw on Sunday.

18-year-old England-born Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Baah warmed the bench for Watford in their 2-0 loss at Brighton on Saturday.

Jordan Ayew was dropped to the Crystal Palace bench but he came off the 68th minute to replace Jeffrey Schlupp when the Eagles drew 0-0 with newly-promoted Brentford. Meanwhile youngster Jesuran Rak-Sakyi warmed the bench for Palace while Tariq Fosu failed to make the Brentford squad.

Defender Andy Yiadom was a full timer for Reading in their 2-1 loss to Coventry City.

QPR drew 2-2 with Barnsley. Championship expert Albert Adomah came off the bench in the second-half to play for QPR.

Daniel Agyei came off the bench in the 87th minute to play for Oxford in their 2-1 loss at Bolton Wanderers.

In the League Two, Ghana forward Kwesi Appiah came off the bench to score for Crawley who lost 6-3 to Forest Green.

In the Premier League 2, Manchester City claimed a 4-2 home victory over Blackburn Rovers. Ghanaian defender Kwaku Oduroh warmed the bench for City.

Striker Terry Ablade scored a brace for Fulham when they recorded 3-0 victory over West Brom on Friday.

In the U18 Premier League, Ghanaian teenager Kevin Abrefa and Jordan Antoine-Addo were in action for Reading in their 1-0 home loss to Fulham.

Chelsea posted a 7-2 win over Tottenham Hotspur. Derek Abu came off the bench to score one of the goals for Chelsea while Rio Kyeremateng also played for Spurs.

Kobbie Mainoo played in the Manchester United midfield that lost 5-0 against Liverpool at home.

Charles Sagoe Jnr. was in action for 90 minutes for Arsenal who beat West Brom 3-1.

GERMANY

Dutch-born Ghanaian youth attacker Brian Brobbey was an unused subtitute by RB Leipzig in their 4-0 home victory VfL Stuttgart. Danish-Ghanaian defender Niklas Nartey missed the game for the losers due to illness.

Former Manchester City and Celtic defender Jeremie Frimpong was influential for Bayer Leverkusen in their 4-0 win over Borussia Monchengladbach. Dutch international of Ghanaian descent Timothy Fosu-Mensah missed the game with a knee injury.

Kevin-Prince Boateng was subtituted after 43 minutes by Hertha Berlin in their 2-1 home loss to Wolfsburg.

Hans Sarpei Nunoo played 71 minutes for Greuther Furth in their 1-1 draw with Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday. German-born Ghanaian defender Gideon Jung was unused Furth.

Attacker Ragnar Ache was introduced in the 80th minute by Frankfurt who drew 0-0 with Augsburg.

In the Liga 3, former Wolfsburg attacker Anton Donkor played for Mannheim in their 3-2 away win over Viktoria Koln.

Braunshweig defeated Zwickau 2-0. Ghanaian defender Steffan Nkansah played in central defence for the losers.

Ghanaian trio of Michael AkotoAgyemang Diawusie and Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer were all involved in Dynamo Dresden’s 3-1 away win over Hansa Rostock.

Paderborn won 3-1 against St Pauli. Daniel Kofi Kyereh played for the losers while Kelvin Ofori and and Prince Owusu warmed the bench for the victors.

Kwadwo Leroy played for Duisburg in their 2-1 loss at Magdeburg on Saturday.

Attacker Richmond Tachie lasted 69 minutes for Dortmund II in their 0-0 draw with Saarbrucken

SPAIN

Ghana midfielder Iddrisu Baba played 70 minutes for Real Mallorca in their 1-0 away win over Alaves in the La Liga on Saturday.

Ghanaian pair of Inaki Williams and Nico Williams played for Athletic Bilbao in their 1-1 draw with Barcelona.

Samuel Obeng scored for the second week running as he grabbed the consolation goal for Real Oviedo in their 2-1 loss to Almeria. English-born Ghanaian Arvin Appiah came off the bench to play for the winners.

Midfielder Richard Boateng played 78 minutes for Cartagena when Huesca beat them 2-0.

FRANCE

AS Monaco were shocked 2-0 at home by visiting Lens. Dutch youth international of Ghanaian descent Myron Boadu came off the bench to play for Monaco while Austrian international Kevin Danso who hails from Akyem Old Tafo played for Lens.

Kamaldeen Sulemana came off the bench in the 43rd minute to replace Jeremy Doku when Stade Rennais beat Nantes 1-0 on Sunday. Ghanaian pair of Dennis Appiah and Osman Bukari came off the bench in the second half to play for Nantes.

Strasbourg drew 1-1 with Troyes. Defender Alexander Djiku missed the game with suspension but striker Majeed Waris came off the bench to play for Strasbourg.

Bordeaux and Angers shared the spoils in a 1-1 drawn game. Ghanaian pair of Gideon Mensah and Enock Kwateng both started and completed the game in defence for Bordeaux.

Abdul Samed Salis came off the bench to play for Clermont Foot in their 3-3 draw with giants Lyon. His Ghanaian compatriot Sediu Alidu watched the game from the Clermont bench.

In the Ligue 2, Emmanuel Ntim was in action for Valenciennes in their 4-1 home loss to Rodez.

Seth Painstil came off the bench to play for Hartberg in their 1-1 draw with LASK Linz.

New Black Stars forward Kelvin Yeboah scored for the 4th game running as he hit the back of the net for Sturm Graz in their 2-2 draw with Austria Vienna.

Liefering returned to winning ways in the 2. Liga after beating Austria Vienne II 2-0. Former WAFA pair of Forson Amankwah and Daniel Owusu came off the bench to play for the winners.

ITALY

Youngster Ebenezer Annan watched from the bench as 10-man Bologna beat newly-promoted Salernitana 3-2.

AS Roma defeated Fiorentina 3-1. Ghanaian midfielder Alfred Duncan warmed the bench for Fiorentina.

Abdallah Basit warmed the bench for Benevento when they beat Alessandria 4-2.

Sassuolo claimed a precious 3-2 win over Hellas Verona. Young Ghanaian player Brian Oddei watched the victory from the Sassuolo bench.

Striker Caleb Ekuban was an unused substitute by Genoa when Inter Allies hammered them 4-0.

In the Serie B midfielder Davis Mensah sat on the Pordenone bench in their 1-0 home loss to Perugia.

BELGIUM

Midfielder David Atanga came off the bench in the 73rd minute to play for KV Oostende who suffered a 1-0 loss to Standard Liege.

Ghanaian midfielder Eric Ocansey warmed the bench for Kortrijk in their 2-0 away win over St Truiden.

Black Stars new goalkeeper Abdul Manaf Nurudeen was in between the sticks for KAS Eupen who maintained their position at the top of the table after hammering OH Leuven 4-1. His Ghanaian compatriot Isaac Nuhu,19, came off the bench in the 63rd minute to play for Eupen.

In the second-tier league Thomas Agyepong was brought on with 17 minutes left to play by Lommel SK in their 1-0 away win over Mouscron.

NETHERLANDS

Ghana international forward Okyere Kwasi Wriedt scored for Willem II in their 3-1 away win over Vitesse Arnhem. Duo Leeroy Owusu and Derrick Kohn all started the game for Willem II.

Dutch youth international of Ghanaian descent Cody Gakpo played 45 minutes for PSV Eindhoven who beat Cambuur 4-1.

Injured midfielder Kudus Mohammed watched Ajax’s 1-1 draw with FC Twente from the screens.

Striker Jonathan Opoku was in action for 90 minutes for De Graafschap when they won 2-0 over NAC Breda.

France-born Modeste Duku was introduced in the 70th minute by Excelsior Rotterdam who drew 1-1 with FC Volendam.

Young midfielder Immanuel Bonsu watched from the bench as Jong Utrecht who held Dordrecht to a 2-2 draw.

ADO Den Haag succumbed to a 2-1 home loss to visiting FC Emmen. Ghanaian duo of Tyresse Asante and Jamal Amofa were in action for Den Haag while experienced defender Mitch Apau played for Emmen.

BULGARIA

Bernard Tekpetey came off the bench to play for Ludogorets in their heavy 5-0 win over Lok. Sofia. Elvis Manu wasn’t in the Ludogorets squad for the game.

Midfielder Charles Bismarck was named on the CSKA Sofia bench for their game against Pirin Blagoevgrad.

Former Ghana U17 attacker Emmanuel Toku was introduced in the 90th minute by Botev Plovdiv who won 3-1 against Levski Sofia.

CYPRUS

Former Atletico Madrid U19 player Benjamin Akoto Asamoah was in action for Doxa who held AEK Larnaca to a 1-1 drawn game.

Aris defeated Olympic Nicosia 2-1. Ghanaian midfielder Kingsley Sarfo played 90 minutes for the vanquished Nicosia.

DENMARK

Emmanuel Sabbi scored for BK Odense in their 2-2 draw with Brondby.

Midfielder Jeff Mensah came off the bench to play for Viborg in their 2-0 win over Aarhus.

Danish-born Ghanaian Christoffer Boateng played the first 45 minutes for Vendsyssel in their 1-1 draw with Fredericia.

Former Arsenal youth team goalkeeper Corey Addai warmed the bench for Esbjerg in their 2-1 home loss to Hvidovre IF.

Martin David came off the bench to play for Amager when they beat Koge 2-0.

Helsingor drew 3-3 with Lyngby. Former Inter Allies defender Abdul Hudu warmed the bench for Lyngby.

EGYPT

Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Kwame Bonsu was in action for Ceramica Cleopatra when they lost 2-1 to visiting Zamalek in the Premier League on Friday. His Ghanaian compatriot Winful Cobbina conspicuously missed out of the squad.

Defender Issahaku Yakubu played full throttle for Wadi Delgra in their 2-0 away win over Ismaily.

ALGERIA

Ghanaian forward Joseph Esso scored one the consolation goal for MC Alger in their 2-1 loss at Magra in the Ligue 1.

Meanwhile former WAFA striker Daniel Lomotey sealed the victory for ES Setif with a 58th minute finish in their 2-0 win over Skikda.

Striker Kwame Opoku was not in the USM Alger team that lost 4-2 against visiting CR Belouizdad.

PORTUGAL

Dutch-born Ghanaian defender Godfried Frimpong warmed the bench for Moreirense in their 3-2 loss to Braga Sporting.

Vitoria Guimaraes beat Vizela 4-0. Ghanaian trio of Francis CannKoauo Koffi and Richard Ofori all played for the losers.

Emmanuel Hackman was introduced in the 67th minute Gil Vicente who lost 2-0 to Benfica at their own backyard.

Lawrence Ofori watched from the Famalicao bench when they were beaten 2-1 by Arouca on Friday. However Ghanaian Yaw Moses missed the game for the victors due to injury.

Forward Paul Ayongo scored the consolation goal for Academica Viseu in their 3-1 home loss to Mafra in the second-tier league.

George Ofosu came off the bench in the 68th minute to play for Varzim in their 3-0 home loss to Rio Ave. Ghanaian attacker Abdul Aziz Yakubu was unused by the victors.

FINLAND

Ghanaian winger Ishmael Yartey came off the bench in the 70th minute to play for FC Haka in their 1-0 home loss to AC Oulu.

Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Abubakari played for Mariehamn who lost 3-1 to Honka. Pair Edmund Arko-Mensah and Nasiru Banahene came off the bench to play for the winners.

HIFK suffered a huge 5-1 loss to KuPS. Ghanaian midfielder Bismark Adjei-Boateng captained KuPS to the memorable win.

Inter Turku beat Ilves 2-0. Ghanaian midfielder Anthony Annan was in action for Turku while Eric Oteng last 64 minutes.

In the second-tier league former Ghana U20 defender Baba Mensah was at the heart of defence for Klubi 04 when they defeated Ekenas 5-3.

LITHUANIA

Former RtD Academy player Divine Naah was booked in the first-half and played the full 90 minutes for Kauno Zalgiris who beat Dainava Alytus 1-0. Ghanaian midfielder Alex Kyeremeh lasted 77 minutes for the losers.

Francis Kyeremeh played for Zalgiris in their 1-1 draw with Hegelmann Litauen.

MALAYSIA

In the Super League, Ghanaian midfielder Yakubu Abubakar was booked in the 88th minute played 90 minutes for Sri Pahang in their 2-0 loss to Kuala Lumpur City.

Former Ghana Premier League top scorer Nana Poku was in full time action for Perak who lost 3-0 at home to Selangor.

Former Accra Lions player Alexander Agyakwa scored the opening goal for Selangor 2 who beat Johor DT II.

SAUDI ARABIA

Ghana international midfielder Afriyie Acquah debuted for Al Batin in their 2-1 win over Abha.

Black Stars winger Samuel Owusu lasted the entire 90 minutes for Al Feiha when they drew 1-1 with Al-Fateh.

Swedish international of Ghanaian descent Robin Quaison for Al-Ettifaq when they drew 3-3 with Al-Shabab.

Striker Ibrahim Tanko scored the opening goal for Javor in their 4-0 win over Sremska Mitrovica in the second-tier league.

UKRAINE

Former Ghana U17 defender Najeed Yakubu played for Vorskla Poltava in their 2-0 home win over Metalist 1925.

RUSSIA

Black Stars forward Joel Fameyeh suffered an injury and was replaced after 26 minutes by Orenburg in their 1-0 home win over Akron Togliatti.

SLOVAKIA

Forward Kelvin Owusu Boateng was introduced in the second-half by Spartak Trvana who held Ruzomberok to a 0-0 draw on Saturday.

Benson Anang played 90 minutes for Zilina when they beat Senica 3-0 on Sunday.

Dun Streda and Trencin shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw. Ghanaian attacker Rahim Ibrahim started the game for Trencin while Sharani Zuberu came off the bench to play for Streda.

Towering midfielder Edwin Gyimah was played as a center-back by Sekhukhune in their 1-0 home loss to Chippa United.

In the USL, El Paso won 3-1 over Rio Grande. Ghanaian Elvis Amoh scored the consolation goal for Grande.

Anderson Asiedu and Prosper Kassim were both in action for Birmingham in their game against Tulsa on Sunday.

Gershon Kwoffie played in midfield for Indy Eleven in their clash with Kansas Sporting City 2.

Solomon Asante played 52 minutes for Phoenix Rising in their 0-0 draw with Sacramento Republic.
